Automated Mercury Systems for Total Mercury and Methyl Mercury
The MERX®-T analyzes samples in sealed vials with Teflon®-lined silicone septum caps. It has a linear calibration range from 5 to 10,000 pg (0.2 - 400 ng/L). Because it transfers only gas, not liquid, from the sample vial to the detector, carryover is extremely low, even after high samples. New systems tested at Brooks Rand achieve carryover of less than 0.1% after analyzing the highest standard in the linear range.
